The Shehu Maikoli Foundation, has donated sanitary items to Makarantar Mai Hidima, one of the non-begging Almajiri schools in Sokoto state.
Making the donation on behalf of the foundation, the deputy chaurman, Mallam Buhari Alhaji Dagara and partnership and collaboration officer, Aliyu Shehu said it is part of the foundation’s efforts of rendering educational and livelihood assistance to the needy.
In the same vein, the foundation pledged to renovate three toilet facilities in the school within a period of five months.
In his remark, the Coordinator of Almajiri Integration and Mainstreaming, who is also Deputy Director Planning, Research and Statistics of Arabic and Islamic Education Board, Malam Abubakar Alhaji laudd the foundation for the assistance and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward the foundation abundantly.
During the presentation, an award of honour was given to Shehu Maikoli Foundation.
