A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Hamisu Idris Medugu has urged President Bola Tinubu to appoint the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu as the National Security Adviser (NSA).
Hamisu, who extolled the intellectual virtues of Ribadu noted that he was as a fine politician who is decked with all sense of humility, wisdom, and the love of people.
Hamisu, who described Ribadu as one of the finest Nigerians worthy of consideration for the office of the NSA based his reasons on Ribadu’s broad-based knowledge in the aspect of security and his high intelligence as a former Nigerian senior police officer.
He said that Ribadu wasn’t only corruption free but also passionate about the peace, unity, and progress of the country.
“If appointed, he will never comprise or wrongly advise President Bola in the area of security,” he said.
He also said that Ribadu will deliver selfless and unbiased service to Nigeria amid the insecurity in the country.
“With Ribadu in the helms of affairs, even the perennial Adamawa APC crisis will come to an end and the state will wholly belong to the ruling party.
“Only Ribadu is capable to unite Adamawa APC and he can only do that if he is given the support and opportunity,” he said.
He further urged the President to fish for only trusted Nigerians to form part of his cabinet members.
He emphasized the need for the APC to extend its reward system to all members loyal to the party.
According to him, this will strengthen the party against all forms of opposition.
