ASHENEWS gathered that four of the five en-strange governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday, paid solidarity visit to Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed.
This online published that the governor, in a letter he wrote to the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu. alleged that Atiku was sponsoring ‘Bala Must Go’ politicians to work against his reelection bid in 2023.
In the letter, Mohammed claimed that he was facing “treacherous treatment” from the party’s presidential candidate of the party.
On Wednesday, Rivers governor, Nyesom Wike; Benue’s Samuel Ortom; Abia’s Okezie Ikpeazu and Enugu’s Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi arrived at the Government House around 12:30pm in the absence of Oyo Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Wike told newsmen that they were on solidarity visit to Mohammed and to seek ways to help in the challenges surrounding his (Bauchi governor’s) re-election bid.
The five governors have emphasised their demand that the National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu must resign as a precondition to support Atiku in 2023.
