Terrorists have attacked Mammansuka community in Gwadabawa local government area of Sokoto state, New Telegraph has reported.
The attack carried out over the weekend left two persons killed and 13 others abducted.
According to community source, the terrorists stormed the village with weapons and shooting sporadically as a result of which the two people were killed and 13 others abducted.
The local government council chairman, Aminu Aya confirmed the incident, adding that the terrorists operated for several hours without security intervention.
According to him, the 13 abducted persons include 11 females and two males.
Aya urged the government to reinforce security to the area as well as rescue the abducted people.
