Terrorists in fresh attack on Gatawa village in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto state on Friday, kidnapped the chief imam, Aminu Garba and 10 other persons during a congregational prayer.
They also blocked Sabon Birni-Gatawa road, shot three persons and kidnapped seven others on Saturday.
The member, representing Sabon Birni South constituency in the state assembly, Sa’idu Ibrahim confirmed the attack, adding that the injured persons were currently receiving treatment at the Sokoto Othopeadic hospital in Wamakko.
He said another woman who was shot at Dama village got her leg amputated because it could not be fixed.
