Terrorists on Thursday morning, kidnapped 100 Primary School, in Kuriga village of Chikun local government area of Kaduna state.
Kuriga is located along Kaduna-Buruku-Udawa-Birnin Gwari Road.
According to a resident of the area, the terrorists, who stormed the town in large numbers, also abducted the head teacher of the school as well as other staff.
Penultimate Thursday, bandits invaded the Gonin-Gora the troubled same Chikun LGA, forcing residents to barricade the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway protesting the abduction of an unspecified number of people in the area.
The residents had stormed the highway protesting and urging the government to do something about the incessant attacks by bandits in the area.

The kidnappers on Wednesday night through the early hours of Thursday had attacked the community, kidnapping unspecified numbers of the residents.
The incident which eyewitnesses said happened from 11pm to 3am Thursday, forced residents to troop out to protest what they described as the audacity of the hoodlums in attacking the area.
Chikun is a Local Government Area in central Kaduna State, Nigeria. It has an area of about 4,466 km2, and had a population of 372,272 as at the 2006 census.[3] Its headquarters is located in the town of Kujama. The postal code of the area is 2438000.
The local government is one of those seriously hit by the raging insecurity in the state.
