Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal in Wednesday, visited the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Usman Baba at the Force Headquarters.
Tambuwal’s visit was to deepen the relationship between the state government and the Nigeria Police as well as consolidate on the gains of the current drive against banditry, kidnapping and other forms of criminalities in the state.
The governor applauded the ongoing efforts of the officers and men of the Force and commended the IGP for his support to the state government in its efforts to ensure that challenges of insecurity were checkmated.
He also expressed his appreciation for IGP’s sustained synergy between the Police and other security agencies in the state.
