Gunmen have attacked Greenfield University in Kaduna and abducted unconfirmed number of students.
Confirming the attack and abduction on Wednesday, the spokesperson of Kaduna Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige said “the gunmen launched the attack on Greenfield University on Tuesday evening.
“The attack on university, which is located on Kaduna-Abuja highway took place at about 8:35p.m on Tuesday,” he said.
Jalige could not however say how many students were abducted.
“The number of students kidnapped has not been ascertained,” adding that security operatives were deployed to the general area for search and rescue operation.
