Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has accepted the resignation of overseer of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Deputy Governor, Manir Dan’iya; the Chief of Staff, Mukhtari Magori and Secretary to the State Government, Saidu Umar.
He also approved the resignation of the Commissioners of the Ministries of Finance, Abdussamad Dasuki; Environment, Sagir Bafarawa; Youths and Sports, Bashir Gorau; Lands and Housing, Bala Aminu Bodinga and Careers and Security, Garba Moyi.
Other are those of Commerce, Bashir Gidado; Works, Salihu Maidaji; Water Resources, Shuaibu Gwada Gobir; Solid Minerals, Abubakar Maikudi Ahmad and Religious Affairs, Abdullahi Maigwandu.
