The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), has sued President Muhammadu Buhari over his failure to probe the allegations that over N1.48 trillion had been spent on the maintenance of four non functioning refineries. SERAP in the suit number FHC/L/CS/806/2022 filed last week at the Federal High Court Lagos, claimed that the funds purported to have been spent between 2015 and 2020 may have been stolen, mismanaged or diverted into private pockets. This was contained in a statement titled: “Hackers can unlock, steal your vehicles, NCC alerts Nigerians” signed by the director, public affairs, Dr Ikechukwu Adinde on Sunday.
