The Lagos state government says it has identified and started communicating with about 6,500 inbound passengers who are suspected to have breached COVID-19 travel guidelines. The Sokoto Executive Council on Friday, approved N1.631 billion for execution of various projects across the state this year. According the resolutions reached after the meeting, construction of Maruda-Tsaki-Lambo-Gantamo-Gajara road will gulp N475 million while N221 million will be spent on the purchase of materials for the maintenance of rural water scheme. The Lagos State House of Assembly on Wednesday evening, passed the 2022 budget estimates of N1.758 trillion presented by governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The budget was passed at a sitting presided over by the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, sequel to a presentation of the budget report by Gbolahan Yishawu, Chairman, House Committee on Economic Planning and Budget.
