The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has moved the former Anambra governor, Willie Obiano to Abuja after he was arrested in Lagos on Thursday night. Nigeria has officially raised $1.25 billion through the issuance of a seven-year Eurobonds in the International Capital Market (ICM). The Director-General of the Debt Management Office (DMO), Patience Oniha made this known in a statement on Thursday. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has filed a new case against alleged internet fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, requesting his arrest warrant for carrying another cyber heist in jail. Nigeria’s Debt Management Office (DMO) has disclosed that the country’s public debt as at December, 2021 is N39.55 trillion. Patience Oniha, the Director-General of the DMO, said this on Thursday, while addressing newsmen on the country’s debt situation.
