Dr Matshidiso Moeti, World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Director for Africa, has said that the Ministry of Health of Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday confirmed the country’s first Ebola case since 1994. Mr Abhay Thakur, Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria said on Sunday that India was working closely with Nigeria to tackle insecurity by fighting terrorism and radicalisation in the country. The African Development Bank (AfDB) has reached a close on financing agreements for a $20-million-dollar concessional investment from the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA) for the COVID-19 Off-Grid Recovery Platform (CRP).
