The Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art cyber security laboratory on the sideline of the 40th anniversary and the 32nd convocation ceremony of the institution held on the 26th November 2021, a statement by the spokesperson of the institution, Adebayo Adegbenro on Sunday said. Bandits on Saturday, blocked the Kontagora-Minna Road in Niger state, making travellers stranded. As a result of the blockade, which reportedly lasted for one hour, many vehicles and travellers were stranded around Yakila and Garun Gabas villages near Kundu in Rafi local government area of the state. Bandits on Saturday, freed 65 members of the Baptist church and others who were kidnapped in Kaduna.
