A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, refused to vacate its order restraining the federal government from deducting monies accruing to the 36 states from federation account to settle 418 million dollars judgment debt in relation to Paris Club Refund. Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Gusau, the chairman of the taskforce, Abubakar Dauran said four suspects were arrested based on intelligence reports. A petrol tanker loaded with fuel on Monday, burst into flames at a filling station in Alapa town, Asa local government area of Kwara state. The spokesperson of the Kwara State Fire Brigade, Hassan Adekunle said the incident occurred at MM filling station along Kaiama road at about 18:19hrs. According to him, by the time firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire had engulfed the whole tanker. The Director of the state fire service, Falade Olumuyiwa advised fueling stations to procure all the necessary safety equipment at their various stations.
