A minor fire incident that occurred in the morning of January 1st 2022, at the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) has been put out, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation limited has said. The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted three days hazy weather activity from Sunday to Tuesday. NiMet’s weather outlook released on Saturday in Abuja predicted moderate dust haze over the northern region on Sunday. It anticipated horizontal visibility values from 2,000m to 5,000m and localised horizontal visibility value of less than or equal to 1,000m throughout the forecast period. The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS), on Saturday released the results of the Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) of June/July, 2021.
