The Nigeria Suicide Advocacy Group has called for the decriminalisation of suicide to advance suicide prevention and control in Nigeria. This was made known by a Consultant Psychiatrist, Prof. Taiwo Sheikh, at the Maiden Virtual Meeting of the Group in Lagos. The number of electricity consumers rose by 410,000 from 11.71 million in the third quarter of 2023 to 12.12 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) stated in its Electricity Report for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023 released in Abuja on Monday, that the increase was by 3.46 percent.
