Some electricity consumers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have appealed to the Federal Government to review the new tariff downwards to avoid electricity theft. Some of the consumers who are mainly business owners said on Wednesday in an interview that if the cost of electricity remained high some of them consumers might bye-passing their meters. The World Bank has projected that growth will rebound in African economies from 2.6 percent in 2023 to 3.4 percent in 2024 and 3.8 percent in 2025.
