Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara Command, has arrested a 22-year-old man over alleged rape of a seven-year-old girl. The command’s spokesperson, Mr Babawale Afolabi, made the disclosure in a statement issued on Thursday in Ilorin. Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offences Court has granted bail in the sum of two million naira and two sureties to Nollywood actor Olarenwaju Oyiminka (alias Baba Ijesha). An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered that a 56-year-old man, Abiodun Abdulahi, should be remanded in Ikoyi Custodial Centre for allegedly defiling his 12-year-old daughter. The police charged Abdulahi, who resides in Ilado Badagry, Lagos state, with defilement. The magistrate, M.O.
