A max airline aircraft lost six tyres while attempting to take off from the Yola Airport in Adamawa on Sunday evening. A Federal High Court in Abuja has declined to bar Governor Siminalayi Fubara from spending government funds pending the hearing and determining the suit filed by the Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly. Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum on Monday announced the appointment of Mr Usman Aliyu as the Director-General of the Borno State Agency for the Great Green Wall (GGW). The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) says the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development will boost Nigeria’s foreign earnings, and reduce transhumance, poverty and conflicts associated with the outdated practice.
