Dangote Industries Limited says its three million metric tonnes granulated urea fertilizer plant is now completed and its products will flood the Nigerian market from Monday. The federal government has announced indefinite suspension of Twitter’s operations in Nigeria. The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed made the announcement through a statement by the spokesperson to the minster, Segun Adeyemi on Friday. Senator Aliyu Wamakko has mourned the deaths of 13 persons who died in a boat mishap in Doruwa village, Shagari local government of Sokoto state, describing it as shocking and saddening. A boat mishap on Thursday claimed 13 lives in Ginga village, Shagari local government area of Sokoto state. ASHENEWS reports that the boat capsized when 18 Ginga villagers were sailing to Doruwa village. The chairman of Shagari local government council, Aliyu Dantani Shagari confirmed the incident in a telephone conversation with ASHENEWS. “Eighteen people were sailing to Doruwa village from Ginga village. They had to cross over the Shagari Dam and that was when the boat capsized. “Of the 18 people, eight women and five men died while five people survived,” the chairman said.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has charged the National Assembly to remove the immunity clause from the constitution, thereby making every Nigerian equal before the law.
