The National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), on Thursday, received assorted unregistered pharmaceutical products worth N100 million seized by the Nigeria Customs Service. The drugs were handed over to NAFDAC in Kaduna by the Comptroller, Zone B of Customs Federal Operation Unit, Mr Al-Bashir Hamisu. The Special Investigation Panel (SIP), investigating the alleged indictment of Mr Abba Kyari, a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) has submitted its report to the Inspector General of Police, Mr Usman Baba. The Force spokesperson, Mr Frank Mba, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, in Abuja. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had indicted Kyari in a bribery allegation. Prof Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director-General, National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) says she inherited N3.2 billion as debt on assumption of office in 2017.
