Yes, it is a fact that 11 men in nine African countries, have ruled for 347 years.
The countries are the Republic of Ganon, the Republic of Togo, the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Rwanda, Uganda, Congo, Cameroon, Eritrea, and Equatorial Guinea.
- Paul Kagame of Rwanda has ruled for 23 years
- Paul Biya of Cameroon has ruled for 42 years
- Teodoro Mbasogo of Equitorial Guinea has ruled for 43 years
- Dennis Nguesso of Congo has ruled for 38 years
- Isias Afwerki of Eritrea has ruled for 30 years
- Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has ruled for 37 years
- Alhassan Outtara of Ivory Coast has ruled for 13 years
- Gnassingbe Eyadema of Togo ruled for 38 years and his son, Faure Eyadema of Togo has ruled for 18 years
- Omar Bongo of Gabon ruled 42 years and his son, Ali Bongo of Gabon, until the coup that toppled him ruled for 14 years.
- All of them have collectively ruled for a total of 347 years in the name of democracy!
This is what can best be described as AFRICA WONDER!
