The zonal vice chairman of Zamfara Central of the All Progressive Congress, Sani Mayanchi has described the death of the chairman of Zamfara Local Government Service Commission, Malami Yandoto, as a loss to the entire people of the state.
In a condolence message issued in Gusau on Sunday, Mayanchi said the entire people of Zamfara central had missed a man with humility and political commitment to the development of the state.
He described late Yandoto as a humble and very courageous person, who strongly believed in the ideals of developing Zamfara, noting that the pain of his death would continue to linger in the memory of many progressive minded people of the state.
“As a friend and political associate, I and late Yandoto had been sharing some political perspectives, especially when we were in the same party, the ANPP and later APC. As someone who came from Zamfara Central Senatorial District, his political contributions and ideas had always manifested in the transformation of the state,” Mayanchi said.
“On behalf of the people of Zamfara Central, especially the supporters of the APC, we condoled with the government and ruling PDP over the demise of their active party member”.
“We also condole with the members of his immediate family and indeed the people of Tsafe Emirate over the shocking loss and pray for God almighty to grant his soul eternal rest,” Mayanchi added.
