Fire has razed the Ibadan South East Local Government Area office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo state.
The incident occurred at around 10.30 apm on Friday, a statement issued by the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr Adeniran Tella said.
“No life was lost but for the logistic materials that got burnt, it will not affect the Saki/West State Constituency re-run election coming up on Saturday, February 3, 2024,” he stated
INEC would also conduct re-run and bye-elections simultaneously in nine states on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
