ASHENEWS reports that the Niger state governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has reached an agreement with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) on agricultural development.
Bago signed the agreement with NASENI at the ongoing 28th Annual United Nations Climate Conference in the United Arab Emirates.
“The Memorandum of Understanding is to among other things improve agricultural technology including mechanized farming equipment, renewable energy solutions, and food processing technology, as well as provide technical support for the overall development of the agricultural sector in the State,” a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the governor, Bologi Ibrahim said.
