The Senate has confirmed the nomination of Olayemi Cardoso as substantive Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The upper chamber of the National Assembly, also confirmed four deputy governor nominees for the apex bank.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio announced the confirmation voice vote without objection.
The deputy governors include Emem Nnana Usoro, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo, Philip Ikeazor, and Bala Bello.
