ASHENEWS reports that the Federal government has constituted an ad hoc committee to constitute boards of agencies.

Announcing the ad hoc committee on his official X handle @SGFAkume on Saturday, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, tweeted that the committee would advise him on the recruitment of competent persons into these boards.

Behind the scenes, a transformative process is underway to ensure an assemblage of a full complement of our FG team. Following the dissolution of boards of federal agencies, I set up an ad hoc committee to advise me on the recruitment of competent persons into these boards.
This committee, co-chaired by @Badaru_Abubakar & @atikuabagudu is diligently appraising the skillsets and CVs of accomplished individuals nationwide. These people, so headhunted, will offer leadership and strategic direction on our various boards, giving @officialABAT traction.
In this regard, I met today with these eminent leaders to take stock of the committee’s work and fine-tune this process. The #RenewedHope Agenda is moving forward. Our cabinet is finally in place, and the boards are the last piece of the Asiwaju jigsaw to be put in place.
