The Niger state governor, Umar Bago has approved the dissolution of all statutory Commissions, Boards, and Parastatals.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Abubakar Usman on Monday, also announced the termination of all political appointments done before May 29, 2023.
According to the statement, the dissolution include statutory and non statutory commissions, boards, and parastatals.
While recognizing the members’ positive contributions to the development of the State and the affairs of their office, the SSG directed those affected by the dissolution to hand over all Government properties, including official vehicles in their possession to the most senior Director in their respective organizations.
