Barely a week after the suspension of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele, President Bola Tinubu is correctly in a closed-door meeting with the former CBN governor and 14th Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
ASHENEWS has not confirmed the details of the meeting of the duo, but we can confirm that they are meeting for the first time since Tinubu took office as president on May 29.
Sanusi arrived at the Villa just before 5:00 p.m. and is currently with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
His visit comes when President Tinubu is making policy pronouncements aimed at redirecting Nigeria’s economic policies.
Recall that after Emefiele’s suspension, the Department of State Services (DSS) on Saturday, declared that he is in its custody on Saturday.
