The Nigerian Workforce Strategy and Enlightenment Centre (NIWOSEC) has urged the president to prioritise the welfare and development of Nigerian workers.
Dr David Ehindero, the Executive Director/Lead Strategist of the centre, who doubles as the President, Nigeria Workers Group (NWG), also felicitated with President Bola Tinubu on his inauguration as the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ehindero said this in a congratulatory message made available in Ilorin on Monday.
He said that the workforce is the backbone of the Nigerian economy and the key to unlocking the nation’s full potential.
The executive director implored the president to utilise the human resources in the country in order to drive national development and growth.
“On behalf of NIWOSEC, I extend our warmest congratulations to you on your inauguration as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Your victory at the polls is a testimony of the trust and confidence Nigerians have in your leadership ability and vision for the country.
“As you assume the mantle of leadership, we urge you to prioritise the welfare and
development of the Nigerian workforce.
“Furthermore, we encourage you to serve as a leader for all Nigerians, regardless of their tribe, religion or political inclination,” he stated.
“We believe that unity is the foundation of a strong and prosperous nation, we therefore urge you to prioritise the unification of Nigeria in all your policies and actions.
“Once again, congratulations on your inauguration as the President of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria.
“We look forward to working with your administration to achieve our shared vision for a prosperous and united Nigeria,” Ehindero said.
