The first chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna state, Ibrahim Yaro Suleiman, is dead.
The state Publicity Secretary, Abraham Alberah Catoh, in a condolence message on Friday, sympathised with the family.
According to the statement, the state Chairman of the party, Felix Hassan Hyat, and the entire State Executive Committee, also extended their condolences to “the immediate family of its first Chairman in the State, who passed away after a protracted illness.”
Extolling the late former state chairman as an astute politician and elder statesman of immense value, the statement further said Suleiman’s contribution to the growth of the party across the state, will never be forgotten.
The party also extended its sympathy to his friends and loved ones, praying for fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
