ASHENEWS reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed the appointment of Dauda Ali Biu as the Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
This is contained in a statement by the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey made available to newsmen on Friday.
This online platform reports that Biu’s appointment will take effect from December 23, 2022 for an initial term of four years.
Buhari also renewed the appointment of Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye as Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for a final term of five years.
Similarly, he renewed the appointment of Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila as Director General of National Lottery Regulatory Commission for a final term of four (4)years.
The president renewed the appointment of Executives of River Basin Development Authorities. They include Engr. Bello Sani Gwarzo of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority; Engr. Olatunji Babalola, Executive Engineering of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority; Bashir Bala Zango, Executive Director, Planning of Sokoto Rima Basin Development Authority; Mrs Ononuju Mary Nwabunor Executive Director, Agricultural Services of Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority.
