Suspended bandits Wednesday night, stormed Kagara town in Niger state shooting sporadically.
A source who confirmed the incident to Ashenewsonline in telephone conversation said the gunmen stormed the twin in numbers and shooting at targets.
According to him, although the Police were seen making efforts to confront the gunmen, it was certain that the fire power of the bandits was superior.
“You could see the gunmen and hear gun shots. Although the Police tried to confront the armed men, you could see that they had no powerful weapons to do so,” he said.
Ashenewsonline could not contact the Spokesperson of the state Police Command because his number was not reachable.
