Nigeria’s vice president, professor Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday, commissioned projects in Borno state.
The Nigeria AirForce 002, which conveyed the VP landed at the Maiduguri International Airport where the state governor, Babagana Zulum alongside Senator Kashim Shetima and members of the state Assembly, received him.
The vice president commissioned six out of the 500 projects constructed by the administration in his second year in office.
The projects include Doctors Quarters with 71 Apartments beside Legacy Garden and Resilience Shopping Complex with 78 shop located at Bulumkutu GSM market.
The VP also inspected Yemi Osibanjo Orphanage where he interacted with the orphans.
He proceeded to the Mega School in Jire along Chad Basin area Gamboru Ngala Road, 4.3km road network at Railway Goni Damgari – Bayan Quarters.
He then paid a homage to the Shehu of Borno, Dr Abubakar Elkanemi.
The vice president launched SMME Clinic at the multi purpose hall of the Government House, which is also part of the empowerment programs of president Muhammadu Buhari led administration.
