Following a vote by 18 members of the Zamfara state House of Assembly to impeach the Deputy Governor of the state, Mahdi Aliyu, the Chief Judge, Kulu Aliyu has inaugurated a seven-man panel to investigate allegations against him.
The said members had last week voted to impeach the state deputy governor from office, following a motion by the state deputy speaker and chairman House Committee on Public Accounts, Musa Yankuzo and seconded by Yusuf Kanoma, Maru North.
