The Senior Special Assistant, Publicity to the governor of Borno State, Lanre Obadiah has been conferred with the traditional title of Bobadamoran in his home town in Kwara state.
The royal coronation which took place on Monday, 27th December 2021, was performed by His Royal Majesty, the Elerin of Adanla, in Ifelodun LGA of Kwara state.
Performing the installation, the Elerin of Adanla informed the mammoth gathering that Obadiah was selected for the prestigious royal title because of his high integrity, dedication and commitment to the upliftment of his people both in Kwara and in Borno, where he works and resides.
Speaking at the coronation ceremony, Obadiah dedicated the recognition to God almighty and singled out the governor of Borno state, Prof. Babagana Zulum for his support, encouragement and facilitation in ensuring the success of the royal installation.
He further promised to put in his best to justify the confidence reposed in him by His Royal Majesty, the Elerin of Adanla and the entire people of Adanla Kingdom.
Obadiah’s wife, Lydia Obadiah was also conferred with the royal title of Yeye Bobadamoran.
With this installation, Obadiah has become the Chief Counsellor and adviser to the King and the Adanla Kingdom.
A large delegation led by Oba (Mai) Yoruba of Borno, Hassan Yusuf witnessed the ceremony.
Obadiah is also the Otunba Yoruba (Waziri) of Borno.
