The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of N2.094 trillion as revenue for the month of October among the Federal Government, states and Local Government Councils (LGCs).
The allocation was made at the FAAC meeting held on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting and made available to newsmen by Bawa Mokwa, Director of Press and Public Relations, Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF), the total distributable revenue included:
N1.376 trillion statutory revenue
N670.303 billion Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue
N47.870 billion Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL)
The communiqué added that N2.934 trillion was the total gross revenue available in October.
It noted that N115.278 billion was deducted as the cost of collection, while N724.603 billion went to transfers, interventions, refunds and savings.
“Gross statutory revenue of N2.164 trillion was received for October. This was higher than the N2.128 trillion recorded in September 2025 by N36.832 billion.
“Gross VAT revenue for October stood at N719.827 billion, lower than the N872.630 billion recorded in September by N152.803 billion,” the communiqué stated.
From the N2.094 trillion distributable revenue:
The Federal Government received N758.405 billion
State governments received N689.120 billion
LGCs received N505.803 billion
N141.359 billion (13% of mineral revenue) was shared to oil-producing states as derivation
For the N1.376 trillion statutory revenue:
FG received N650.680 billion
States received N330.033 billion
LGCs received N254.442 billion
Derivation (13%) accounted for N141.359 billion
From the N670.303 billion VAT revenue:
FG received N100.545 billion
States received N335.152 billion
LGCs received N234.606 billion
From the N47.870 billion EMTL revenue:
FG received N7.180 billion
States received N23.935 billion
LGCs received N16.755 billion
