The National Coordinator of the movement of the South East for President 2023, SEP 2023, Mr Emmanuel J.C. Ezugikpe has congratulated Chinwedu Ochulor and his running mate, Mr Chuks Amaike for winning the Saturday local government councils election in Abia state.
ASHENEWS reports that Mr Ochulor Chinwendu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won with 18,323 votes against the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate who scored 210 votes, in Isialangwa North local government area of the state.
While congratulating Mr Chinwedu, Ezugikpe said the victory was a result of selfless service and dedication to the people of the local government.
“On behalf of the Southeast for President 2023, I wish to congratulate, Mr Chinwedu Ochulor and Mr Chief Chuks Amaike as chairman and vice chairman-elect of Isialangwa North local government.
“Your victories came as a result of selfless service, dedication, transparency and accountability towards actualising the dream of our people.
“I want to assure you of the support and cooperation of SEP 2023 to succeed in service to your people. Once again, congratulations,” he said.
