The Federal Executive Council (FEC), joined by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, approved the reopening of four land borders.
The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed disclosed this after the council’s virtual FEC meeting.
According to her restriction on the importation of commodities, like rice and other products were still in enforce.
The borders directed to be opened include Seme in the Southwest; Illela in the Northwest; Mfun in the South South and Maigatari in the Northwest.
