President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt has instructed the Egyptian Armed Forces to dispatch a Mistral helicopter carrier to serve as a field hospital treating those injured in Libya’s deadly floods.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior said on Tuesday that more than 5,200 people are believed to have died in devastating floods across eastern Libya.
