Benue state government has constituted three committees to tackle the problem of pension payments, judgment debts and garnishee orders on government accounts by some pensioners being owed by the previous administration.

In its bid to stop the series of garnishee orders against the state government, Gov. Hyacinth Alia, has appealed to pensioners to withdraw all cases filed against it in court.
