The Zamfara State branch of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), led by Hajiya Hadiza Hamza Kolo, has announced the start of the second phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative.
Speaking to journalists in her office in Gusau, the coordinator said the online registration is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
She explained that the NDE plans to involve 21,782 unskilled and unemployed people from across Nigeria in the program.
The program will offer training in vocational, farming, digital, and business skills. It will also include public works activities using over 30 different types of skills.
Some participants will receive startup money, tools, and equipment as soft loans after the training ends. Registration for the program is only available online.
People in Zamfara State who are interested should visit the NDE website at [www.nde.gov.ng](http://www.nde.gov.ng) or go directly to [www.nderegistrationportal.ng](http://www.nderegistrationportal.ng) to register.
They must have a valid National Identity Number (NIN) and a recent passport photo.
