Tinubu wins 20 LGA’s in Niger, collation still ongoing

#Nigeriadecides: ASHENEWS reports that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has so far won 20 local government areas in Niger State.

Niger State has 25 local government areas.

The declarations made separately by Collation Officers across the 20 local government areas showed that Tinubu won in Agaie, Agwara, Bosso, Chanchaga, Edati, Gbako, Gurara, Kontagora, Lavun, Magama, Mariga, Mashegu, Munya, Mokwa, Paikoro, Rafi, Rijau, Shiroro, Wushishi and Tafa local government areas of Niger State.

ASHENEWS earlier reported that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won in Mokwa and Katcha local government areas while the Labour Party won in the Suleja local government area of the state.

At the time of filing this report, the Collation Centre was awaiting the submission of results from two local government areas: Lapai and Bida.
