Former Sokoto State Governor and Senator representing Sokoto South in the Senate, Aminu Tambuwal, has flagged off the distribution of this year’s Ramadan package for PDP supporters, targeting 30,000 households across the state.
Speaking during the distribution exercise at his residence in Sokoto on Monday, Tambuwal stated that the package would be distributed across all 23 local government areas of the state.
Tambuwal noted that, just like last year, they had gathered to distribute essential materials to their numerous supporters and members of the public. He emphasized, “This year, about 30,000 households will benefit from this initiative.”
He expressed hope that those responsible for the distribution would be just and fair, ensuring that the package reaches the intended beneficiaries as planned.
Tambuwal also commended the PDP legislators in the House of Representatives and all party stakeholders in the state for their efforts in keeping the party strong and united.
He urged supporters to remain united, expressing confidence that the party would regain power in the 2027 general elections.
He thanked the party chairman and leaders for their continuous hard work in organizing and strengthening the party in Sokoto.
Reaffirming his hope for success, Senator Tambuwal emphasized the need for unity and collective effort to reclaim what was lost in the last election. He expressed optimism for their victory.
“Insha Allah, we are restructuring, re-strategizing, and reorganizing. What has been taken away from us will be given back by the grace of Allah,” Tambuwal stated.
Among the beneficiaries of the package are party elders at the state, local government, and ward levels, as well as youth organizations and other groups.
