ASHENEWS reports that President Bola Tinubu has appointed Jibrin Baba Ndace, a former chief press secretary to ex-Niger state governor, Abubakar Sani Bello as the Director General (DG) of the Voice of Nigeria.
The President in a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity also announced the appointment of Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu as the Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).
Also appointed was Mr. Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos as Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Dr. Muhammed Bulama, DG of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Mr. Charles Ebuebu, DG of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, DG Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali, as Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) while Mr. Dili Ezughah was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC).
“The President tasks the newly entrusted leadership in these important sub-sectors to innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon through the effective reform of these key institutions of government which function to unify our people, reshape mindsets, and showcase this great nation to the rest of the world.
“By these directives of the President, the above-listed appointments take immediate effect,” the statement said.
