ASHENEWS reports that the Niger state government has commenced discussions with the Ankara Chamber of Commerce to collaborate in the areas of healthcare delivery, ICT as well as agriculture.
Speaking when he received a delegation from Turkey, led by a Board Member of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Omer Yilnaz at the Government House, Minna on Tuesday, the Niger state governor, Mohammed Bago acknowledged the expertise of Turkey in various fields.
The governor, represented by the Secretary to the Niger State Government (SSG) Abubakar Usman noted that it would facilitate a study visit to Turkey to deepen the discussion for partnership.
In his remarks, the leader of the Delegation and a Board Member of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Omer Yilnaz, highlighted the competence of the company in various sectors such as Health, Infrastructure, ICT, and Agriculture.
Yilnaz who expressed optimism that partnering with Niger state would be successful, identified the state’s proximity to the Federal Capital Territory Abuja as an added advantage.
This online platform reports that the delegation earlier met with the Commissioner for Industries, Trade and Investment, Aminu Suleiman Takuma and heads of some other relevant MDAs to discuss ways of partnership.
