Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago has received an official letter of recognition from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the Abdulsalami Abubakar University of Agriculture & Climate Action, Mokwa.
This recognition establishes the institution as Nigeria’s 65th state university and the 277th university nationwide.
The letter was formally presented to the governor by the Pro-Chancellor of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, Prof. Muhammad Kuta Yahaya during a ceremony at the Council Chamber of the Government House, Minna.
Expressing his gratitude, Governor Bago commended Prof. Kuta Yahaya for his dedication and efforts in elevating the state’s education sector.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to revitalizing education and enhancing its impact across the state.
The Abdulsalami Abubakar University of Agriculture & Climate Action, Mokwa, is set to play a pivotal role in advancing agricultural education and addressing climate challenges, aligning with the state’s vision for sustainable development.
