The Niger State House of Assembly on Thursday, confirmed the appointment of Justice Aisha Bwari as the new Chief Judge of Niger state.
She was confirmed on Thursday after a unanimous decision by the Assembly for her to take a bow and leave.

“I urge you to pay deserved attention towards improving the structures of courts in the state some of which have decayed,” Iya told Bwari.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after her screening, the new Chief Judge promised to ensure the improvement of the judiciary.
“As the lawmakers have said, lots need to be done in the area of administration of criminal justice. We will improve in the area while ensuring justice for all citizens,” she said.
