ASHENEWS reports that the Kaduna state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested over 100 suspects for various drug-related offenses.
This online platform also reports that the arrests were made in January 2023.
The Commander of the NDLEA in Kaduna state, Braji Alhaji made this known on Saturday while briefing newsmen in Kaduna.
He said that the command seized 4,891.715kg of illicit drugs in the state.
Some of the drugs seized included 3,888.426kg of Indian Hemp, 0.006kg of Heroin, 0.053kg of Cocaine, 0.0012kg of Methamphetamine, 4.482kg of Tramadol, and other Psychotropic weighing 998.736kg.
The NDLEA state Commander stressed that the agency would intensify its efforts in the coming months in the fight against drug abuse.
He thereby urged the general public to support the agency in ridding the state of the menace.
